The Beez chest rigs have an insane amount of room inbetween the panels. I was completely caught off guard until I had mine in hand. This is the split front rig for AK, and the interior compartment runs the entire size of the panel, and I have 2 (split rig). Zippers are definitely easier to access than velcro.

OK, those are cool. I can drop in maps and admin stuff: even a small flashlight, all kinds of stuff. If you get their chest rig, I highly recommend this item.
