Very easy to put up.
Lightweight
Easy to pack its bag is not so small like other items that you spend 20 minutes trying to repack it

Perfect with flat tarp
he splash bivy has become a key part of my ultralight setup.
It’s even lighter and more compact than expected, and adds just enough protection to make a minimalist shelter system feel complete. Paired with a flat tarp in an A-frame setup, it creates a simple and very efficient system that works across a wide range of conditions.
During bug season, it makes a big difference — keeping insects out while still feeling open and breathable. In wind and rain, it adds that extra layer of protection against splash and drifting weather, which makes the whole setup more comfortable and forgiving.
What I like most is how little it adds in weight and bulk, while noticeably increasing usability and confidence in changing conditions.
