Gallatin Comp

I wanted a boot that finally fits me perfectly. I usually get a half size up because my wide foot. I’ve settled on their standard as it is explained they start with a wide foot bed. The boots fit perfectly in every way, except the comp to rubbed and I really wanted them to work. I do not have the widest foot in the world, but apparently these will not work for me and they did not have extra wide in size 9.5.. do not feel right about giving them a lower view because they did not fit me perfectly but I was pretty disappointed. For everyone that these fit it seems like a perfect boot.

Duradero is a great company. As a arborist, these boots were put through the wringer through climbing and ground work. These are my second pair of the same boot. They fit my wide feet very well. They do take some time to break in, and I would recommend wearing some thicker socks at first during that time. They are sturdy, keep your feet dry (with proper leather maintenance), and look good. A little on the heavier side but as to be expected with a solid boot. I wore them for two years every day in rough terrain for work before the sole finally gave out. The leather was still in great condition given the abuse they went through. Unfortunately they were too wrecked for the free resole so instead the company offered 50% off a new pair. Well worth it.

Had them on one day and my get were hurting. Hoping it's just a break in. I've been kinda spoiled with brunt boots. But, they wear out really fast.
