Advanced Design w/ Simple Interior

Paragon 2.0 met my commuting needs x100! Pockets offer just enough storage without losing all my stuff (like in random tiny pockets found in other bags). The one slip pocket in side is great for an organizer, magazine, and notebook - or just a good ol' laptop. That front pocket is perfect for throwing my Metro card inside as I get to the subway. And let's not forget about the classic Tom Binh accessory clip points in all the right places. This replaced a large retailer bag, whose fabric was failing, the construction already exceeds expectations. It was a top choice because no exterior accessory pockets to snag on things. Straps are comfortable for a lady's needs; thanks for that. Straps NEVER stretch, whatever magic is in these soft straps is awesome. Olive fabric stays clean despite the paces I've put it through. Zippers, love the sealed zipper and how short the zipper pulls are. They don't clink-clink together. One day I forgot to bring home an umbrella and 1/2 way home was caught in a down-pour. No, didn't have a bag cover but when I got home the outside was soaked, inside DRY! Hung the Paragon 2.0 upside down in the bathroom and packed it up 12 hours later to go to work. Thanks Tom Binh!!

Beautiful and Simple

Great size for getting to and from work each day -- fits my 14" macbook pro with room to spare, and there's plenty of room inside the bag for my charger, a hoodie, etc. without there being a huge amount of space that would make the bag bigger. I like the small size. I put a limited number of things like car keys, sanitizer, lens wipes, in one of the zip pockets. I'm not someone who needs 15 differently-sized and shaped pockets to organize all my stuff. This would not be good (by itself) for you if you're expecting that. I wouldn't remember where things were in that sort of setup! The bag looks beautiful. The blue color I got is stunning, and the materials (all fabrics, zippers, etc) are super high quality. The clean lines and simplicity of the design means that there's no outside water bottle pocket, which I do miss a bit, but I've just been putting my thermos inside the bag and it hasn't been a bother. Tradeoff for the clean look. I took the bag on a short overnight trip and it worked fine for me, but it's not that big and also only has a few zippered pockets other than the main one, so it's not ideal for overnights or as a travel bag. Overall, beautiful, high-quality, but very very simple and not very big. Works great for me!

New work backpack

I needed a new work backpack that would also be good on my bike. The two straps across the waist and chest (similar to hiking backpack) help it stay secure while biking but aren't annoying if I'm not using them. It's somehow sporty but professional? I work at a hospital and have to walk a long distance to get to my office, and everything, lunch etc. fits in the backpack despite it being a slimmer profile. The quality is so nice, I feel like it's going to last forever. There's often a presumption that if I pay a bit more, the quality will be up to par, and unfortunately that's not always the case. With Tom Bihn though, you get exactly what you pay more--the quality is amazing.
