VTS Lite Rack Attachment/Pair

They work pretty well, but I have a few reservations

I have a Rogue Monster Lite rack, so I ordered the VTS Lite to include hooks designed for 5/8” holes. Unfortunately, the hooks I was sent never consistently fit into the holes on my Monster Lite rack, so I had to return them and order the latch hooks instead. These work but are less versatile, due to fewer available hitch pin holes on the sides of the uprights. The hitch pin issue made for a frustrating and disappointing experience, and Bulletproof wasn’t always quick to respond to my queries, but in the end they came through with the latch hooks instead of the regular hitch pins I’d hoped to use originally. The VTS Lite system itself works well. There’s a bit of play with the trolleys, even after adjusting and readjusting the tensioning bolts, but it’s perfectly acceptable, especially considering my 70” uprights can’t accommodate other Smith machine add-ons. What’s harder to deal with is the weight of the trolleys themselves. Even though they’re lighter than the regular VTS trolleys, I find them too heavy for some Smith machine movements when combined with a standard barbell. For this reason, I bought a ten-pound chrome barbell from Titan that, though not very high quality, makes all movements I want to do doable. I imagine the more-expensive Feather Bar from Bulletproof would do the same (and be of higher quality). Overall, I’m happy with my purchase, but it’s much harder for me to recommend the VTS system for racks with 5/8” holes than it would be for 1” holes.

Seriously quality equipment!

Easily some of the best thought out home equipment I’ve ever seen. Honestly it took me a session to get the hang of how it works, but I can say now it’s worth every penny. Also, I waited to order the accessory handles. Go ahead and just get them. You’re going to want them once you understand how versatile your rack is now.

Best investment for my home gym. Smooth performance and easy to assemble. Highly recommend!
