I'd say this razor is the most near perfectly balanced razor I have tried as far as comfort and efficiency goes. Overall impeccable craftsmanship across the board. I have fairly coarse/wirey (that's patchy in places) facial hair and shave every 2 to 3 days so I am super happy with the H plate. If I shaved daily I am sure that the R plate would be a great option as well. I am glad I went with the Colossus handle as well. I usually go for shorter handles but decided to go for something fairly different and am impressed with how well balanced it is. Nice knurling as well! Super comfortable while maintaining great grip!

I bought the Windsor razor with two base plates - the M (0.25mmgap) and the R (o.58mm gap) and have shaved with it 4 times (two times with each base plate) and used an Astra blade for all the shaves. The first issue was that the top plate would not screw smoothly into the handle of the razor despite several attempts. I was able to use a Dscosmetic handle instead that worked really well and use the Windsor handle on the other razor - surprised that something like this should occur - but the swap worked well.
The M plate was a very smooth shaver, very comfortable shave with no nicks or cuts. The R plate needed some careful handling - the first time around I ended up with a nick under my nose, the second time around there were no nicks or cuts but I did experience some razor burn around my neck and jawline. I'll probably use the M plate as a daily driver and include that in my rotation and use the R plate only when I need that level of aggression.
