Blackbird

My new daily driver. Very efficient razor, and has the most blade feel of any safety razor I’ve used. Don’t let this deter you, however, as once you get the shaving angle down, it’s very smooth and gives closer shaves than any open comb I’ve tried. If you like blade feel, and/or an efficient razor that gives a close shave, you can’t do better than this!

Magnificent razor. I'm glad I went with the Lite SB because this is the limit of what I like in regards to blade feel. This razor paired with a Personna GEM blade is very efficient. The razor is very well balanced. Its definitely in my top 3 out of the 10 razors I own.

First of all working with Shane and the fine folks at Blackland is top shelf. I purchased the blackbird lite in stainless. It was unlike any razor I've ever used. Each shave was getting better and better. The razor checked all the boxes except for the weight. Since I was in my 30 day window I emailed Shane and sent the razor back with the instructions provided and purchased the titanium blackbird lite. After trying numerous DE, SE and straight razors... I have finally found the one!
