XDA-3 Differential Reference DAC / Preamp

Astonishingly Clean

Easily the best DAC I've heard in my, albeit, limited experience with separate hardware. Anything I've put through it comes out pristine, articulate, layered, and so clean. I'm very impressed, especially given the price in Canada.

the good old days

I purchased a power amp to match up with this preamp. Excellent combination. Just like the power amp, this unit is built like a tank 👍. I only just wish the blue display was little bigger to read from my sitting position 😊

Amazing product with two minor cons

I cannot describe why this product is amazing. Sounds incredible, the materials it's built with are amazing. The appearance is spectacular, the blue lights. . . well, it something has blue lights it sounds better,. . . But. . . yes there are two 'but'. The Light settings (dimmer) are lost when I switch between standby and powered on, and the other "but" is the clicky sound of the keys of the remote controller. In the silence of the night while I'm listening soft music, the click when I press any key of the remote controller breaks the magic of the moment. Anyway, If you need a preamp, don't think anymore, buy it.
