This adjustable bench is everything I was looking to add to my home gym. It does not rock when being used as support for stepping and plank exercises. It is also comfortable when laying on it for more traditional bench exercises and it is easy to move around the gym space. Assembly was super quick as well!

Works Well
The bench works well and is steady. It’s very easy to move to different location. I gave it 4 stars because the material for the cushion could be a little longer. I’m concerned it will pull lose with more use.

Amazing price to value ratio!
There are hundreds of benches on Amazon right now ranging from $80-1000. The cheaper options are exactly that in terms of quality as well. I tried two of them and they seemed so flimsy and one of the cushions might as well not be there since it felt like I was lying on a piece of wood. So I returned them both and decided to actually invest a little more in something I’ll likely own for years. I’m an intermediate lifter so I did not the fanciest of options but I needed something that would hold against the test of time. I’m so glad I went with this REP bench. It was decently easy to assemble without any help (I do recommend power tools and not just the tiny metal piece that they call a wrench). The seat is so dang good! What REP is doing is the opposite of catfishing. It looks and feels better than what it does in the image. They would probably sell more if they updated the website. It’s soft to lay on but firm enough to hold its shape. It’s also grippy with some microtexture which you can’t really tell on the image and it makes it look even more premium. It has all the adjustment angles you would want except for the decline (negative angle). Only thing it lacks is a roller pad for the legs but since there is no decline you don’t really miss it anyway. Is it the best bench out there? Probably not. I would assume there are better ones including ones from REP’s own line but they would also cost more. In this price range, I haven’t found anything that even comes close (trust me, I have looked everywhere). You would almost assume this costs more. You are paying about 100-120 more than most Amazon brands but for that price you are getting an extremely premium option. If you are looking at those, I’d suggest save up a little and just spend your money on this. Buy nice or buy twice! Would recommend it to anyone without hesitations!
