Over the past few years, due to hormonal changes many women will relate to, I struggled with an itchy, reactive scalp. My naturopath recommended a medicated shampoo that eased the itch but left my scalp dry and my hair flat and lifeless. I tried countless “best-for-you” and organic brands, but nothing truly worked—until I discovered Ochre on social media and decided to give it a try. The Purifying Shampoo has been nothing short of transformative. After two months of use, my scalp feels soothed and balanced, and my hair has regained its softness, shine, and natural vitality. It’s the first time in years that my scalp and hair feel truly healthy again. I’ll be adding the conditioner to my routine soon, and I can recommend this line wholeheartedly!

Really enjoying this shampoo

Review: I've been using this shampoo for about 2 months and I am loving it. I found it by looking at the National Eczema Association's product list. I was looking for something that would help my dandruff AND wouldn't break me out in hives. This hits the mark for both. Pretty quickly after starting to use this product, my scalp became SO much less itchy. I have very few scabs left at this point and my scalp is not irritated at all. My skin doesn't have any reaction to it like other shampoos I have used in the past. For anyone with similar issues I would recommend for sure. Things to just be aware of (but not things that bother me enough to remove any stars): - It smells medical? Not bad, but not good. This is honestly a good thing because the fragrances are what cause me issues! - I find I have to wash my hair more often than I used to - I typically have oily hair and used to wash only twice a week with other shampoos, but this one I typically have to wash 3 times a week. My hair type: curly (2C/3A), thin, itchy scalp & dandruff

Too soon

To tell you the truth, I haven't had the shampoo very long. Does seem like for a few hours my head doesn't itch. I am so hoping this shampoo works. Twenty-one years has been long enough, I'm tired of having a itchy red scalp, with small amounts of dander. For most of my life I washed my hair everyday. Stopped that around ten yrs ago. Three stars just because to soon to know if it has worked.
