A little challenging to get on the backpack strap, but so far so good.
The pad is sturdy and of course smells lovely. It’s a little stiff right now, though I imagine the stiffness will ease with use. I’m satisfied with the pad and happy with my purchase. Mostly I would just recommend that Frost River change the name of the item to “Shoulder Pad”, singular, because nowhere that I could find on the item page is there a clear statement that only one pad (rather than multiple, as implied by the item title) is included.
