Growth Set

Great bars!

The growth set is my favorite so far. The conditioner lathers much more easily than other sets and moisturizes generously. The shampoo is a little bit too drying, but at least I can feel that I’m getting a good clean.

I've used many shampoo bars over the years (was probably what you might call an early adopter), and this is the only brand that leaves my hair with soft, beautiful ringlets - no other products required! Haven't been using it long enough to report back on the "growth" part of the growth set but whatever, healthy hair grows longer and my hair feels and looks so healthy. Customer for life.

Best Shampoo & Conditioner I've Used

I have been using the Growth Set for the past two years and it has been amazing. Prior to use, I regularly struggled with having an itchy scalp and just couldn't seem to figure out how to get consistent results with my curly/wavy hair. Basically as soon as I made the switch, the itchy scalp issue was annihilated with the only exception being when it’s crazy dry outside — but what's new?! There’s a learning curve to learning how to use shampoo and conditioner in bar form but this is easy enough to overcome. The shampoo lathers super well and the conditioner is decently easy to apply to the hair. Both have a light, pleasant scent which is not at all artificial-smelling, which I appreciate being a little scent-sensitive. When my hair drys out, it is soft, tangle-free, and remains decently frizz-free no matter the weather conditions. Thanks to this set, I have managed to cut out all other products from my routine, I often receive kind compliments from strangers about how my curls look AND, to top it all off, I feel great seeing less plastic in my bathroom. This isn't just a great shampoo and conditioner BAR combo ... this is just great shampoo and conditioner PERIOD. 10/10 recommend. Keep it up Vida Bars team!
