I love everything about these sandals. They are so well made

Comfortable but noisy for running

I bought these for running (especially in the rain or heat). They’re generally pretty comfortable. But the toe of the sole has a lot of slop, flapping freely under the toes of my feet. This makes me nervous of tripping when I climb stairs. Also, while running, when the ball of my foot strikes the ground the front of the sole swings down and slaps the ground - on pavement, it’s really loud (think high heels on hardwood floor).

Great sandal, great customer service

Love the sandal - good ground feel, but very tough/durable sole. I like the weight personally. Use daily for walking around, and it’s very comfortable, especially after the leather breaks in and molds to your foot. Customer service was amazing — truly some of the best I’ve experienced with any company. I’d never had minimal sandals before, but they were very helpful, patient with my questions, and were able to help get me the sandals very fast (i rush ordered before travel). I definitely like the straps, but it does take some adjustment and patience - by the time the leather had broken in, i had found that the straps and my foot had adjusted enough to one another to be very comfy, but not too tight. I do periodically tighten them, especially if hiking or running (tech strap helps with moving fast / on slopes), but for daily use/walking i keep them slightly looser, no tech straps. Been wearing most of the day most days since mid May, and I find the idea of switching back wearing other forms of footwear … less desirable. Looking forward to seeing how they do in the fall with a bit more moisture, but if the leather has any issues I’ll use synthetic footbed sandals until next summer. Definitely recommend these, but also with some patience to break them in and see how awesome they really are. It’s like a good leather hiking boot— it might not perfectly match your foot immediately, but you’ll swear by it once broken in.
