Hackleback Caviar Review (Price: $60): This was my first time trying caviar, so I’m not entirely sure what it’s supposed to taste like, but I noticed a slightly fishy taste and aroma. Overall, I think the product is just okay—perhaps my expectations were a bit too high. I plan to try one or two other varieties from the Caviar Co. to see if my opinion changes. On a positive note, the company ships very quickly.
Con: The 1 oz glass container is extremely difficult to grip and open. It took both my husband (Mathias) and me quite a while to get it open, and at one point I thought we wouldn’t be able to at all—which would be frustrating given how expensive caviar is. The Caviar Co. should consider redesigning this size container, perhaps making it larger or easier to grip so it’s simpler to open.
