The BEST apple pie and applesauce EVER. Making pies with Haralson apples is a family tradition started by my Swedish-American Grandma Carlson. She was born on a farm in Fruitland, Michigan.
Since moving from MN to Omaha we’ve had trouble finding them nearby. Nystrom Orchard to the rescue!

Not crisp, not tart, bland flavor and baked to mush in my pies. A waste of money. Pink Lady apples from grocer would have been better and not ruined holiday dessert.
