Old vs New
It would be great if dimensions for the different clasps were included so if you’re not sure which year the quilt was made you can differentiate them. Luckily I had extra old style clasps and intended on cutting and modifying the straps to begin with. Now I can quickly clip my straps on to my pad rather than stretch it on and slide it up from the bottom. New clasps are lighter but difficult to manipulate the old style slightly heavier but much easier to use. The straps new and old modded or not are the best on the market for keeping drafts out.

Did not fit my quilts buckel
I have the earlier quilt and a later quilt.
The buckets don't mate up on either. Poor quality control. I regret buying it.

Pad strap
Buckles are very lightweight however they are difficult to unlatch with gloves or cold fingers.
