I use my Z-Loks on my bike for two purposes: Protect my tools locked to the bike and to secure my bike on short stops for a coffee or a quick drop into a shop. As normal locks are opened in seconds or a mere minute, it’s an easy way to hinder a cleptocratic by occasion from riding away. Therefore a useful tool, especially on bike trips. That said it comes with three disadvantages. - I had three keys breaking already, so on a trip carry a replacement key with you - After some time if wear and tear you can open the lock without a key. - I didn’t find a good place on the bike to store the security ties. Underneath the saddle would be great but there is no neat way.

Good quality all round a great handy product.
