Best shoe for the bucks!
These XC7 shoes are elite level race shoes as a mid level price. Far and away the best deal in racing cycling shoes. I don't want ultra stiff mountain bike shoes as walking happens. . . . . and these are more than stiff enough with the carbon insert under the pedal/cleat. The double BOA is solid and works well. The fit is perfect for my low profile feet while still giving enough toe box but not too much. And the silver simply looks fast!
