Great for toenails and OK for nail tips if I follow up with an aluminum oxide crystal product

The grit on this product seems to be too much for my natural nails, but it takes length off nicely. In order to get a smooth edge, I refile with an aluminum oxide crystal file that I bought years ago from a now defunct company called Amera. The crystals are round and actually polish the end of the nail, as they are made of the same type of file that dentists use to polish down teeth.
