These hackles will work well for what I am doing. I am using them to make caddis wings with a process from Oliver Edward’s. The lighter color back I think is actuallybetter. You substitute d it for a speckled one. Thank you ! Our hydropsyche morrosa caddis at GLS. are quite light .
