I've picked one up in every color... it helps me figure out colors when ordering items that don't have a visual representation. I do enjoy using it as a primary go-to tying thread as well.

I’ve been using it for years , love the way it lays nice and flat, I’ve switched to veevus but always come back to ultra especially when tying perdigons

Ultra thread is my favorite

Been using ultra thread for a while. I tried a couple other brands. Keep coming back. Ties nice and flat. 70 denier is used for most flies. I learned that I dont need as many colors since I have accumulated several permanent markers in buggy colors. Easy to color the thread in exposed areas
