Cute little cup, but feels and looks like plastic :(
It’s a nice little cup and I love that the lid isn’t plastic! It is surprisingly difficult to find, and it’s why I was willing to spend $70 on a cup… But after using it for a couple weeks, I just don’t know if I would go back in time and buy it again if I had the chance. The borosilicate glass feels and looks exactly like plastic which kinda cheapens the drinking experience (I know I sound annoying here). I’m sure if it actually felt like a “real” glass cup it would probably shatter all the time, so it’s a pointless gripe on my end - but again, it’s a $70 cup. I guess it just wasn’t what I was expecting. Love the pursuit and business model, though!

Bottom line: due to fragility, poor insulation for boiling-water beverages, and expense, I will not be buying a replacement.
Glass is inherently fragile, and GOOD CUPPA is clearly aimed at coffee and tea enthusiasts. Mine lasted about three months before an accidental three-inch drop, upside down into my dishwasher’s top rack, ended it. I’d agree with other reviews on its benefits and limits. Glass over aluminum genuinely doesn’t stain and keeps a clean, clear taste. But the vacuum or glass isn’t insulating enough for black teas needing boiling water: green tea around 175°F is comfortable, while boiling water makes the cup almost painful to hold. I used it as a travel mug occasionally, but never comfortably; instead, I sip from it at home over an hour. I’d challenge the maker to add exterior ridges or an accessory to offset the glass from my hand, improving grip and making boiling-water beverages less uncomfortable.

Best togo mug out there!
Great seal with even better insulation(considering its just glass). No condensation on the exterior of the mug, making an iced drink a cleaner experience during a hot day.
