Carter Slide Mug

I had an earlier version of this mug and used it exclusively for about 4 years until the top finally broke off. It had a lot of mileage and I cherished it. I was looking for something pretty specific: a ceramic interior, non-spill but easy to sip, and fits in a car cupholder. This is one of the only ones I've found that offers all of these things. I'm happy about my new one, the design looks largely the same. Does the job and love the color.

I’m very happy with this cup. It’s aesthetically so cute. The mouthpiece is amazing. The only negative is putting it back together to clean it is annoying.

Thank you for reaching out! I bought this travel mug after having shopped at length for something beautiful and functional. Here's the big design problem- my husband's nose hits the slide out lid. So when he's about 1/3 through his coffee, he has to tip his head quite far back to get liquid, and then it runs out too fast and it's hot so that's led to uncomfortable spills. Not good while in the car. The only other option we can see is to not use the lid, but that doesn't work for travel and defeats the purpose. Sadly, as much as I thought he'd love this mug, he used it once and probably won't be able to use it again. Is there another lid that fits this mug? I would try to return, but obviously we've used it and I recycled all the original packaging. Thanks for any support you can offer!
