Exactly what I was looking for

I've been looking for years for something that smells better than sunscreen but evokes the same emotions of being at the beach. Essentially what Kramer thought up and Calvin Klein unjustly stole from him in season 4, episode 13 of Seinfeld. This scent achieves that goal.

Nice, but not amazing

I sprayed the Kuya on myself as soon as it arrived in the mail. It’s a very nice scent, but its notes are very similar to other colognes I’ve worn over the years. As the day lingered, the Coconut profile seemed to get stronger (which I liked). The scent lasted for the better part of the day. It’s a great cologne for the price, but there was no ‘Wow’ factor for me.

Fragrance of the Philippines

I’ve worn the same perfume for the past 15 years, but when I saw the advertisement for Kuya on Instagram—a unisex scent inspired by the Philippines with the aromas of Buko, burnt vanilla, and surf wax—I knew I had to have it. I still use my other main perfume for formal occasions, but this has become my daily wear as it assimilates beautifully here in the tropics of Florida.
