Еnergy absorbing circuits are used to suppress the voltage spikes caused by the circuit's inductance when a switch, electrical or mechanical, opens.
To be used for all Shelly relays which are restarted when switching on induction loads such as fans, motors, rollers, or those that cause voltage spikes during power on.

Perfect for what it is.
The true test will be to see if the Shelly 1pm is still running fine after hundreds of cold stops on the coil of my contactor with the snubber attached, but I didn't need extra parts, the leads are long and thick enough I just crimped spades on and plugged it in.
