Third Grade Curriculum

I feel like the math is too advanced, not explained well enough, and not engaging. My child is GT (gifted and Talented, IQ in the 90th percentile) and, most days, ended in tears due to the complexity of the math curriculum. I’ve spoken with other T4L homeschool mothers and found their children were having the same difficulties with the math curriculum. We now use Math Prodigy because of this issue.

I really love using this curriculum with my child. However I wish you were still able to freeze the account at a lower cost during a monthly break! Time4Learning should bring back that option.

My daughter enjoyed the curriculum. However, this year was 4th grade, and I feel like the math portion should be revamped to go into more detail and explain the lesson a little better. I had to supplement for her a lot. Also, allow us to only include the lessons we feel are appropriate. I wanted her to do Social Studies, but I wanted to skip portions on slavery. I had to skip the entire Social Studies lesson because it wouldn't let me remove lessons I didn't want to include, so again, we had to supplement elsewhere. Please fix these issues, and I think Time4Learning will be so much better.
