Having already used Hario filters & their dripper, this was another step added to the process. My first attempt resulted in torn filter paper, but once I got the hang of it, I appreciated the better flow pattern the W1 offered.

The Filter So Nice I Bought It Twice

This is the second W1 Filter that I've purchased and it's honestly great. It consistently provides flavorful and nuanced cups of coffee without the need to have everything dialed down to the last degree or needing a gooseneck kettle (convenient while traveling). You can get as specific as you want with it or just splash that water right into it. Big recommend.
