It's a fantastic bit of kit without doubt, incredibly strong, easy and intuitive to pitch and will be coming out with me more than my Vern 2 for sure however there is room for improvement and this is my only issue with the Varde 2 it really needs to be a little wider inside, if the inner was 200mm wider it would be the perfect tent imo, you can still get two wide pads in but it is very tight and they don't lay flat, one rides up at a slight angle. Surely there must be a way to reduce the height slightly and increase the width by just 200mm ?? Hopefully this is something that finds it's way onto the Varde 2 gen 2, I'll definitely be pre ordering that!!!
