Valhalla Wrapper
It’s so great to have your Valhalla plugins right into the plugin path of Ableton Live, it’s smooth, so your workflow keeps on going without opening the actual plugin itself…
Hopefully there is going to be more of this!!

Wonderful devices!
The Valhalla FX already stand as probably the best software delays and FX you can buy - they’re dirt cheap, they have a huge amount of options and flexibility, and most of all they sound ten times more expensive than they are. AND they have simple interfaces, and thanks to Elizabeth Homeland’s wrappers we can enjoy those interfaces right within Ableton without needing to open a plugin window! Her wrapper for ValhallaDelay especially is something I’ve mapped to a keyboard shortcut, such that I can load it and tweak it in a heartbeat whenever I need.

My only criticism is that a lot of the text is misaligned, such that I had to pop the hood on the devices in Max to fix it. I would like to see more attention paid to that in updates where possible. Otherwise, they’re perfect!

A perfect wrapper device from my favorite M4L developer Nándi!
I don't try to fall in the trap of purchasing all types of M4L devices, because sometimes a device can be rushed or not intuitive. However, with Nándi's devices, you feel that the developer also uses the devices extensively. I was a fan of the utility devices and didn't make the jump to the wrapper devices yet.
After checking some of the wrappers out, I felt that the Valhalla ones were the ones for me. And boy, am I glad I bought them. It's easy to switch presets, change all the parameters and whenever you click on the 'maximize' button to open the VST, you get a nice message in the wrapper stating what you have to do to get back to the wrapper controls.
I've bought a number of devices from Nándi already, and am looking forward to whatever else is next!
