On Deck Popover PDF Sewing Pattern

Great fit, easy to follow!

I made this pattern from barkcloth and it is a perfect sweater/jacket replacement! The instructions were great and the shape/style is roomy and comfortable. I usually have to grade between 2 or 3 sizes, but because of the ease, I took a chance and went with a straight Large (I have a short torso, so I did shorten that, but that was my only modification), version A and it is a perfect fit! In the future, I might substitute snaps for the buttons and maybe add a hanging loop to the back. I'd love to make the hooded version in waxed cotton. I used a different fabric for the underside of the sailor collar and the side facings. Will definitely make another one!
