Praying Mantis Ultimate Kit

My son was looking forward to receiving this praying mantis kit, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. First, the shipping took a long time because the package was sent via the slowest USPS delivery option and was stuck in Customs. By the time it finally arrived, the flightless fruit flies (meant as food) were all dead, and only one silkworm survived, making it nearly impossible to feed the mantis. The included mesh enclosure was cheaply made and poorly designed. There was no way to add dirt for a live plant. We had to buy a better enclosure from Amazon to make it functional. For the price, I expected much better quality. The delays, poor construction, and lack of proper habitat support made this a disappointing purchase. I wouldn’t recommend this kit to anyone serious about raising a praying mantis.
