If you trigger it with the remote control, it is fine. But, if you adjust it to trigger automatically off of the dog barking, it is too sensitive and picks up non-barking sounds as triggers. My husband has complained about them not working ever since he installed them. And, he has moved them multiple times trying to get them to trigger off of our dog’s barking. Regrettably, they aren’t really a solid solution.

We bought one for our neighbors dog and it works well. Works outside and inside, easy to install and easy to hide.

Been using it for a few weeks and the neighbors dog still barks several times a day. The dog does not bark for nearly as long so it is having an effect, but I was hoping that it would have stopped the barking entirely. So some effect, but not as effective as I had hoped.
