I'm enjoying the smooth taste of Sumatra Mandheling

I'm enjoying Sumatra Mandheling.. The beans smell amazing when ground.. I live in an apartment building. .I've gotten numerous compliments about the smell of my beans brewing. Sumatra Mandheling is very smooth and has a very fresh and smooth taste. It is roasted perfectly. Many Indonesia beans get over roasted. Not RTO. Roast to order know their Indonesian coffee beans and their roast choice accentuated the smooth taste profile. Another winner from RTO. Good beans make good coffee. On this special bean I recommend measuring the amount you use if using a drip method of brewing. Five stars. A great coffee for perfect mornings.

over roasted beans

I love sumatra beans. Unfortunately these are over roasted and burnt. They did a much better job roasting their papa new guinea beans and sulawesi and both of those have similar flavors to sumatra so I'd recommend getting one of those instead if you like sumatra

Smells great but no flavor.

This coffee smelled wonderful right out of the bag but after grinding and brewing and pouring a cup it was tasteless. I was very disappointed in the outcome since I wanted the coffee to taste good. Maybe I should try a different origin bean.
