Buy it, and stop using the rest.
Really nice quality. I like that you only have to twist it half a turn to get it to attach. Worth every penny! I don't need the rest as often now. Bought the 10 inch version.

NICE EXTENSION!
This is a nice extension. Fits my cue perfectly and has helped me out of a few jams already. Much better than grabbing the bridge in my opinion.
