Shoulder season jacket

It’s difficult to layer during the shoulder season when mornings are cool and afternoons are warm. This jacket is perfect for the better part of spring and fall days. I even found myself in a three-day snowstorm in Alberta shortly after receipt of the jacket. It layered perfectly beneath my rain jacket providing warmth under a wind-resistant layer and 21 degrees F. Couldn’t ask for a better made and versatile garment. Thanks, Filson!!!

Exactly what you expect!

The name Filson is recognized for quality and durability. This Ultralight Jacket delivers both. The materials used are flawless and the seam and stitching is perfect throughout the jacket. I looked VERY closely at all stress points and couldn't find a single "wondering stitch"! Just what I expect. As for the effectiveness of the jacket, it's a very good/excellent camp jacket. It is a extremely good layering garment for more inclement weather. I would definitely recommend this jacket to a friend/family.
