I bought this jacket because I really like my Brooks down, and wanted something warmer for those freezing days. Well today it was 22 degrees and wore the White Cloud with a long sleeve t-shirt today to put to the test, and it performed perfectly! Others have mentioned not liking the double zipper and it being hard to get started, but I have had no issues with it and it has not worked free on me. Size Xl fits me like a 2xl. I could probably wear a large, especially under a shell layer. I am 5’11” 220lbs with broad shoulders. All depends on how you want to wear it, as an outer jacket, or as a middle layer, so the xl does both for me.
