I wanted to get beyond a high-end soundbar in the living room 83-inch OLED TV, so ordered from ORB two of the famous small ORB spheres and paired them with a small (and incredible) WiiM amp (which has the absolutely required crossover control to separate the Mids and highs that the ORBs carry from the bass that is pushed to the Sub) and a Dayton CS800 8-inch Sub (which is the sub the owner recommended as the best pairing with the WiiM and two ORB speakers). The sound of this true Stereo 2.1 setup with the small ORB speakers was astounding and 5 times better than the very best soundbar + Sub - true separation and crystal-clear voices with a full, deep rich sound. I decided 3 days later to order two more ORBs and in 5 minutes added one ORB left and one ORB right and thus had 4 ORBs - two sets of two about 75 inches apart on each side of the TV stand table. You can stack them vertically with the mount or set them side-by side for a lower profile. This made the sound even better with the added bonus of filling the entire room with sound - not just at the mid-field while watching TV. Those little speakers are incredible. By the way - the WiiM amp is an astonishing capability and so small. It pairs perfectly with the ORB speakers in a stereo 2.1 arrangement and will stream directly when listening to music. For connection to the TV, use the HDMI ARC route. The whole thing is controlled with the WiiM phone amp, and I also use Spotify (which is native in the WiiM) and can control it from any device on the home mesh Wi-Fi network v- phone, laptop, tablet, or desktop PC. Amazing capability.

I bought the speakers primarily for the size and looks. I did not expect to love the sound. They look every bit as great as I had hoped. The big surprise is the sound, which has exceeded my expectations. I am very pleased with the purchase.
