The worms were inside a mesh bag along with some paper for them to feed on I guess. The worms were difficult to get out of that bag as they were some in the bag and some in the paper. Ones that fell out took off at a dead run! Fortunately I had some containers to put all 5000 in with some food. They were quite lovely. They aren’t super big. I’ve heard to be careful ordering the super size ones. These are the perfect size for mama to give to the babies. The birds approve of them as well!
