Great Mic!
The U87i is a fantastic mic for vocals and acoustic guitar. The warmth is unmatched, and the nuance in my voice that it picks up is something I’ve never quite experienced in the same way before. Get you one, you won’t regret it.

My new go-to
More airy, more transparent, more musical than the TLM103 I had previously been using for vocals. I could complain that threading it onto the shock mount requires a steady hand and a bit of patience, but now that it’s on the mount, and on the stand, I can’t imagine ever putting it away.

Really great sounding mic
The shock mount felt kind of cheap though, so that may be the only negative. The mic itself sounds really really nice, smooth. I would say This mic is well worth it for any studio.
