Incredible & Uncanny Condenser Microphone Results

I was very sceptical of the Dachman DA87l’s claim . I don’t believe most testimonials, especially in 2026 because most of the testimonials come from people that do not have any real audio engineering experience. They’re from home studio enthusiasts that can’t track or mix to any degree of competency. I spoke to an engineer friend who I can trust in their opinion about the Dachman because he recently purchased one. He said this was the best reproduction of the Neumann U87 he’s ever heard. That was a bold claim .I’ve been tracking with the a whole host of Neumann since working at Chung King Recording Studio’s in NYC since I worked as an audio engineer starting im my late teens and have the Platinum and Gold records to prove it . Although I work primarily as a touring and session drummer and stopped working as an audio engineer many years past, I maintain a full audio/video recording facility in NYC. I took the plunge and bought one based on my friend’s recommendation. I am amazed at the quality of this mic especially for the price point! I’m still baffled as to how they pulled off this pricing for the components necessary to achieve this sound quality. Nevertheless, I can’t praise the techs at Dachmam enough. I’ve been running this mic through some heavy loads lately and the sound doesn’t degrade as the mic stays on. I ran the mic for 4 hours without signal degradation. I’m sold on the Dachmans . I have 2 Neuman U87’s and 4 other Nuemanns but I am going to purchase their FET U47 reproduction and run that one through the ringer as well . I have to thank the team at Dachman for such an unbelievably great deal but more importantly, for the sound quality they are providing myself and the public. I am a very happy customer. I hope they continue producing incredible instruments as this DA 87l. Thank you Dachman Audio

Our engineer loves it.

Our recording engineer has used U87’s before. The Dachman, in his opinion, sounds better. So far, he has used it on female vocals and drum overheads. Cheers
