Orange Springtails

Springtails

A little concerned with the number of viable springtails in the culture I purchased. I realize its a tricky thing to quantify as they as so small. Hopefully they can get established.

Believe the other reviews

Very few springtails were shipped to begin with. Over half were dead upon arrival, and only a percentage were orange. For how much I spent I wouldn't have been happy with how many I got even if they were all alive... and orange. Based on other reviews this isn't a one off. Suggest finding another vendor.

I’m echoing Jess’s review. I received a small 2oz bottle with mostly soil and not very many springtails, and about 75% were dead. I counted less than 10 that were alive. For the the price, I would either expect a larger container or for a significant number of springtails to be alive on arrival.
