I wore these on some bonefish/permit flats; alternation eel grass, coral and sand. They are lightweight and agile to walk in. They keep the sand out well. Zipper gets sticky from sand but probably unavoidable. My only hesitation is level of protection against an urchin spine, very sharp coral, etc--I didn't have a problem, but I have some Simms flats sneakers that have more protection that I prefer because of that, despite heavier weight. These are a good option if you want to go light, maybe ideal for a sandy flat.

Love 'em
I wade miles of flats in these booties several days a week, several months every year. Love the fit, love the durability and at the end of a particularly long walk, that light weight can't be beat.

Just picked up another pair of summertime, waiting booties after wearing my other pair out. They lasted 2 years under all kinds of condition. Would recommend these wading boots to anyone that Wade’s wet. Awesome product.
