I was looking for a medium brown leather strap to work with the patina of a vintage watch, the Dunmere worked perfectly. I went with the max thickness of 3mm due to the thickness of this watch which was the right move in this instance. The thickness of the strap helped balance out the watch but it still wasn't too stiff. For a thinner watch I would definitely stick to less than 3mm in thickness.
