The best!
The Bench Boss holds everything you could ever imagine using at the fly tying desk. The construction is solid and the best part is, it doesn’t take much space up on your desk. The very best!

Not thrilled
The small holes meant for bobbins and anything else thin enough to fit are badly placed. Why in the front? They end up in the way when reaching for anything stored behind them. If the tiny holes were in the back it would make much more sense.

Meets my needs
I have only had my bench boss a few weeks, but I think it will meet my needs. I like the organization of various slots for multiple tools. Unfortunately, I do not have all Loon tools, so apparently the holes are provided to fit their own model tools and are too small for many of the tools I already own. I have not decided if I will attempt to drill holes larger. The Loon tools were NOT recommended by my fly shop, so I am not going that direction. Lastly, it would be good to have some diagram or instructions as to what each hole was designed to fit. I can see some examples on the website (which I am following) but I have to modify to have my non-Loon products fit.
