Well folks I have been out there on the slopes

Well folks I have been working hard out there on the slopes. Thin’n Juniper Trees and improving forest diversity, I made a mistake in ordering a pair of size 9’s. For casual wear and walking on flat ground they work well; however working on slopes packing a chainsaw my feet are crowding the toe box. Towards the end of the day this is an aggravation. I should have ordered a 9-1/2. I have another pair of Robert’s on order, and phoned in this morning and changed the size up from a 9 to a 9-1:2. Every thing else as far as width, leather, last, heel, hooks, eyes, sole are great. The sizing mistake is not on Nicks as far as I’m concerned, that’s on me. My pair of Moc Toe Wedge Boots are just great by the wsy

Great-Boot!

This is my second pair of Nick's Boots. I got the Robert in Smooth MS Black which they say is their stiffest leather however they were comfortable straight out of the box and were relatively easy to break in. I like the classic arch, I have never had a boot with this much arch support. It feels great, I can easily wear these boots all day. The 55 last has an almond like profile to it which makes it feel more dressy compared to the HNW last. This boot is my new go to weekend boot it is a versatile boot it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
