The Shackleton rocks!

The Shackleton leather is amazing! Love the green and the overall build quality of the boots is unmatched. Working on breaking them in, which will take a bit but the fit and finish is five star!

As expected.

Fantastic boots, took them out of the box and coated them with Mink Oil over the course of a week. I wore them around the house to break them in, and then took them hiking and camping in West Virginia. Break in period wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, no blisters, no hurt feet. The size difference between the boots was noticeable, the right boot is more snug than the left one. It's a bit difficult to slide your foot in because the leather isn't lined, so it catches your socks. But the leather footbed is comfortable and I started to feel it take shape ove the course of my hiking trip. Since they were heavily coated with Mink Oil all the mud and water rolled right off and had a breeze cleaning them. Temps were pretty low outdoors and these won't keep your feet warm if you're stationary, but they won't be cold if you're moving. Great tread grip.
