The tan is well and you can definitely build it up. I didnt really notice a tone difference on my face. It is not COMPLETELY stain-free it will stain fabric if it lands on it. I have a small spot on my bedding that was stained because a little bit got on it. However, it does not stain my clothes once it is dried, just be careful around fabrics that will absorb it and darken.

This duo is amazing!! I was able to sleep on white sheets and no stains! There was a couple of small patches of dark spots but that was only because it was a hot night and I sweat some of it off before it fully dried down. The spray is amazinf for hands, feet and face. Looks so natural!
