LIPS

Honestly bought this for the unique case. It’s so sculptural and heavy for its size. Cardinal lipstick is super pigmented. This is the first time I’ve tried a red lipstick, so whoa, definitely showcases the lips! A quick slick layer of Justice Lip Balm tones it down enough for me to wear Cardinal daily. Love love.

I'm so happy I grabbed this from the archive before it was gone for good! It's so worth it! The case itself is smaller than expected but honestly I feel that makes it much more travel friendly even for it being an art piece essentially and it has a very good weight to it, the lipstick itself is very nice! The color payoff is insane once you break through the initial wax layer, it glides on pretty easily and doesn't feel drying on my lips. All in all if you were still waiting on getting it for the packaging it's definitely worth the money, but if you do miss out on getting the iconic lipstick case the color is very worth it 10 out of 10!

The lipstick tube/product itself is a nice formulation and pigment, but the case or holder got scuffed really easily from me simply opening the packaging. For a very expensive collectors item, you would think the chrome/metal would not get scuffed or scratched so easily.
