Great wood, bad laser cut

This handle is great and fits well, but the laser cut logo is HUGE and DEEP. It give an unpleasant texture in the hand such that I'm trying to find ways to fill it in. Really poor choice to make over half the length a 1/4" deep laser cut logo.
