Built to Last
The hickory handle has the right orientation. The head is true and stout. Everyone who goes outdoors should have one of these, and should know how to use it.

Beautiful work
Great axe. Feels lighter than it looks. Scraped the lacquer off handle burnished it and gave it many coats of BLO. Now I need a sheath as they were out
