Nice alpine harness

This is a great harness -- light, comfortable (even at hanging belays), good belay loops, good fit. My biggest complaint is that the elastic keeper strap from the waist loop to leg loop at the back of the harness constantly comes untied and detached. I wish these were just sewn in or at least much more secure.

Works great for alpine ice. Holds Petzl Caritool clippers firmly and was comfortable on 60m rappels while still being light weight and packable. Being able to open the leg loops is great with crampons. The leg loop attachment is manageable with thin gloves. I did have to size up to a large for winter layers with a 32” waist.

This harness is super compact, easy to put on with skis and has a sleek, secure fit and feel. Looking forward to using it in the field soon! Have other Blue Ice products which have been bomb -proof and expect no less from this harness!
